Some personal thoughts . . .
I have greatly enjoyed the various steps along the way in my career, and have taken something valuable from each into my work as a Stakeholder Relations expert. I have always been fascinated with how relationships directly impact the success of a business, and I embrace every opportunity to work with others who choose to leverage the power of these partnerships.
Through the years I have seen organizations thrive because they truly focus on others who are impacted by the decisions they make day in and day out. Unfortunately, I have also seen the negative impact of operating in a vacuum and not looking forward and outward to anticipate the consequences of their strategies and activities. The good news is, there is a process and a mindset that can dramatically shift an organization that ensures greater success with individual projects as well as the organization at large. I have studied this field for a number of years, and the results from a focused Stakeholder Relations strategy are undeniable.
Stakeholder Relations Consultant
Work with mid-market companies who invest their time and resources to provide themselves with every advantage when aspiring to grow and scale their organizations. As a Stakeholder Relations consultant, I provide the guidance, systems and processes to strategically leverage their internal and external stakeholders for maximum return on relationship.
Co-founded and served as the Chief Operating Officer of CuroLegal, a firm that delivers outsourced business services for law firms. I exited CuroLegal in May, 2015 to devote myself fully to the mission of the ActionMasters Network.
Served as the Director of Business Development for a $22.5M investment fund for tech startups.
Executive Customer Advisory Boards
Designed, managed and facilitated executive-level Customer Advisory Boards throughout North America, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. Clients included LexisNexis, VeriSign, Dell and Springer.
Freelance Marketing Professional
Owned and operated a niche marketing firm, specializing in print materials, copywriting and photography.
Served as the Director of Membership and Marketing for an international trade association.
On a Personal Note . . .
I have always been fascinated by what makes people successful, both personally and professionally. Success to me is not defined by a dollar amount, but rather how much you love your life and how much you enhance the lives of others.
My greatest personal achievement is my family. My husband, Paul, and I have five college graduates, a growing tribe of grandchildren and an awesome batch of our kids’ spouses/significant others. There’s nothing we enjoy more than hanging out at the lake with the kids and our extended family and friends.
For me, personal performance is a joy rather than something to “work on,” because I treasure the opportunity and feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day to squeeze in all I want to do. I can’t think of anything better than going to bed each night knowing that you took action to become the best version of yourself that you can possibly be.
And finally, I just love meeting new people, whether in person or online. Developing relationships with others drives me to seek opportunities to provide value and just enhances my life in general. So when you hear me say, “Give me a call. I’d like to connect,” please know how sincere that request truly is.
